This series of 2205 duplex stainless steel round bars are hot forged and hot rolled solid alloy rods produced with premium UNS S32205 duplex stainless steel raw material. After solution annealing rapid cooling treatment, the material forms uniform dual-phase grain structure, delivering combined advantages of ferritic and austenitic stainless steel.
2205 is the most popular economical duplex grade. It integrates high mechanical strength and outstanding chloride corrosion resistance, outperforming 316L in marine, desalination and chemical sour service environments. It allows thinner structural design while retaining long-term anti-corrosion stability, ideal for high-load corrosion-resistant mechanical blanks, shafts and fasteners.
