  • Premium raw stock for industrial furnace fixtures, heat‑exchanger components, petrochemical equipment and high‑temperature rotary hardware
Product Overview

This series of Incoloy 800 round bars are manufactured by hot rolling, forging or cold‑drawing, followed by solution annealing and water quenching to obtain homogeneous single‑phase austenitic microstructure. Standard delivery is soft solution‑annealed blank ready for rough‑and‑finish CNC machining.

Incoloy 800 (UNS N08800 / 1.4876) is widely‑used nickel‑iron‑chromium heat‑resistant solid‑solution alloy. It provides reliable anti‑oxidation, anti‑carburization performance under high‑temperature gaseous atmosphere, and meanwhile delivers good aqueous corrosion resistance including chloride SCC resistance. Note Incoloy 800 is designed for service below 600°C; select upgraded Incoloy 800H / 800HT when higher‑temperature creep‑rupture strength is required. Widely processed into furnace fixture bars, heat‑exchanger shafts, petrochemical reactor internals and high‑temperature fasteners for heat‑treatment furnaces, petrochemical, power‑plant and thermal‑processing industries.

Material Grade Characteristics – Incoloy 800 (UNS N08800 / 1.4876)
  • Solid‑solution‑strengthened Ni‑Fe‑Cr austenitic alloy, cannot gain hardness via quenching or aging heat‑treatment
  • Balanced chromium‑aluminium‑titanium composition offers outstanding oxidation and carburization resistance for furnace atmosphere
  • High nickel‑iron matrix effectively prevents chloride stress‑corrosion‑cracking in hot brine and high‑chloride water environments
  • Ti‑Al elements stabilize grain boundaries, minimize intergranular‑corrosion risk after welding, acceptable for as‑welded assemblies
  • Good ductility and machinability under solution‑annealed condition, compatible with conventional welding processes
  • Reminder: Not optimized for long‑term creep load above 600 °C; choose 800H / 800HT for >600 °C creep‑critical applications

Key Advantages
1 Good High‑Temperature Oxidation & Carburization Resistance

Cr‑Al‑Ti composite protective oxide scale provides reliable performance for furnace, thermal‑cycling gaseous environments for service temperature up to 600 °C.

2 Excellent Chloride SCC Resistance

High nickel‑iron base microstructure resists chloride stress‑corrosion‑cracking, outperforms regular 300‑series austenitic stainless steels for hot brine equipment.

3 Weld‑Stable Micro‑Structure

Al‑Ti alloying suppresses grain‑boundary chromium‑carbide precipitation; many components can run under as‑welded condition without post‑weld solution annealing.

4 Balanced Fabrication Performance

Solution‑annealed condition offers good ductility for turning, milling, threading and conventional welding operations.

5 Cost‑Effective Thermal‑Process Alternative

Economic choice for moderate‑temperature furnace and heat‑exchanger hardware compared to higher‑grade nickel‑base superalloys.

Typical Applications
  • Industrial Furnace Equipment: Furnace fixture bars, tray support shafts, muffle component blanks, low‑temperature carburizing furnace hardware
  • Heat‑Exchanger System: High‑temperature heat‑exchanger bar blanks, thermal‑circulation rotary spindles
  • Petrochemical Industry: Reactor internal support rods, process‑heat‑treatment equipment component preforms
  • Power‑Plant & Energy: Steam system auxiliary components, waste‑heat‑recovery equipment raw stock
  • General Corrosive‑Thermal Machinery: Hot brine handling hardware, high‑temperature fastener blanks
