Product Description
Monel K500 is a precipitation-hardenable nickel‑copper alloy that combines the excellent corrosion resistance of Monel 400 with significantly higher strength and hardness through the addition of aluminum and titanium. It offers approximately three times the yield strength and twice the tensile strength of Monel 400, while maintaining good ductility and toughness from cryogenic temperatures up to 593°C. The alloy also exhibits strong resistance to seawater corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and hydrogen embrittlement. Supplied in age‑hardened condition per ASTM B865 / B564.
