Martensitic stainless steel sheet is high-carbon chromium iron alloy with typical hardening performance through quenching heat treatment. Different from austenitic & ferritic stainless steel, it can reach high Rockwell hardness after tempering, featuring outstanding wear resistance and moderate atmospheric corrosion resistance at low cost.
Our core martensitic product series covers general structural 410, medium-hardness cutting tool grade 420/420J2, high-toughness corrosion-resistant 431, ultra-high hardness wear-resistant 440C. We supply thin cold rolled decorative sheets and thick hot rolled industrial plates, supporting laser cutting, stamping, CNC machining and custom heat treatment service per customer drawings.
This material is widely used for cutting blades, bearing parts, mechanical wear components, valve parts and general anti-rust structural components without strong chloride medium exposure.
Low-carbon martensitic base grade, minimum chromium 11.5%, good ductility in annealed state, moderate hardness after heat treatment, basic atmospheric rust resistance, low cost for general mechanical structural parts, valve bodies and pump components.
Medium carbon martensitic steel with higher carbon content than 410, obvious hardening capacity after quenching; 420J2 has optimized carbon ratio for better polishing performance, widely used for kitchen cutlery, surgical instruments, mold inserts and cutting blades.
Nickel-containing martensitic grade, improved toughness & corrosion resistance compared to 420, reduces cracking risk after heat treatment, suitable for high-strength shaft parts, marine valve fittings and pressure-resistant mechanical components.
Ultra-high carbon martensitic stainless steel, highest hardness among standard stainless steel grades after quenching, superior wear resistance, used for precision bearings, measuring tools, high-strength cutting tools and wear-resistant mechanical liners.
